Hello All,

I have informed our Convenor Mike Morris that i do not intend to stand for re-election as Area Secretary at the AGM on Saturday the 18th of November.

So the search for a new Area Secretary begins now.

The reason for starting now is that hopefully we can have someone in place and ensure a smooth transition at the AGM.

I have thoroughly enjoyed being Area Secretary but feel it is the right time to pass it on.

The job is not really that difficult ( if i could do it anyone can ). 😀

The main tasks are, organising 3 Area council meetings per year, March, June & October by Zoom

Compiling the Annual report for the AGM in November.

Booking the venue for the AGM wherever it is to be held.

Forwarding information from Ramblers London & Edinburgh to the groups.
