7 Members attending the Gathering held this year in Newtonmore. 103 ramblers attended the event from Friday evening to Monday morning at end of April. The base was Balavil Hotel which was very good value, comfortable and varied meal menus. Over the 3 days of walking, the Cumbernauld and Kilsyth Group offered 7 walks, and our members took part in 6 of them. Photos from the walks can be found in Gallery below.

On Saturday night there was excellent ceilidh and on Sunday there was fine illustrated talk about the local Insh Marshes and its wildlife.

Sure all 7 of us would thoroughly recommend future Gatherings to all Group members.
